(Moon Cake) festival organised by SUPP Women’s wing in Miri
Over 1,000 people from all walks of life took part in the Mid Autumn (Moon Cake) festival organised by SUPP Women’s wing on Wednesday night in Miri led by Chairperson, Datin Jennifer Chee.
The walk started from Civic Centre to Miri City Fan before heading back to the civic centre again.
Piasau State Assemblyman, Dato’ Sebastian Ting who officiated the opening ceremony congratulated the Woman’s wing for promoting and maintaining the culture and tradition.
He said this is also to educate the younger generation of what mid autumn festival is all about.
