SUPP Youth Central is very concerned with the 2013 Auditor General Report that two long houses in the interior was denied treated water supply although the facility was completed two years earlier. TS Peter Chin on Jerip’s plan to take legal action
SUPP President, Tan Sri Peter Chin laughed when asked to comment on former SUPP Chairman of Bengoh branch, Dr. Jerip Susil, who said he may sue him. Chin said Jerip is most welcomed to take whatever action he wants as he, (Chin) is just carrying out his duty as Party President based on a decision made by the Central Working Committee (CWC). 叶耀星要求当局针对稽查报告采取行动
2013年度稽查师报告早前公布惊人发现，砂州内陆地区居然还有两座长屋没有自来水供应。根据报告，费用高达146万令吉的史柏廖戈隆长屋计划（Rumah Sebeliau Geliung projects）虽然早在2011年4月便已经完成，但是基于种种因素，稽查团队在2013年8月前往上述长屋时发现，长屋居民仍然未能享有自来水供应，而是使用雨水、河水及重力引流。砂人联青高度重视此项问题并要求当局即刻采取行动解决问题。 不单如此，稽查师也发现砂州乡区水供计划存在多处弊端，包括水槽漏水、水管曝露及各种品管和品质问题。此外，报告也指出乡区发展部及工程顾问在联邦和州级执法不严，是导致这些工程项目出现问题的因素之一。 砂人联青秘书长叶耀星强烈要求有关当局，对这些导致上述两个长屋居民长期以来面对如斯困境的负责单位采取严厉行动，因为政府既然受到人民的委托，就有义务去确保国家的财务是用在对的地方，不浪费、不挥霍而且必须充分发挥每一分，每一毫的作用。 2013年度总稽查师报告总共提出230项建议。其中55项是针对中央政府，31项是针对联邦法定团体，其余的144项则是针对州政府。 叶耀星希望中央和州政府能够采取更积极的行动，严正看待总稽查师报告里点出的各项问题，同时也采纳报告提出的建议改善问题，确保所有工程计划和活动的实行都能够取得预定的效果。
