TS Peter Chin on Jerip’s plan to take legal action
SUPP President, Tan Sri Peter Chin laughed when asked to comment on former SUPP Chairman of Bengoh branch, Dr. Jerip Susil, who said he may sue him.
Chin said Jerip is most welcomed to take whatever action he wants as he, (Chin) is just carrying out his duty as Party President based on a decision made by the Central Working Committee (CWC).
Last Saturday the CWC, chaired by Chin, expelled three persons – Jerip, Ranum Mina (Opar) and Dr. Jonical Rayong (Engkilili).
The three were with Sibu former Chairman, Dato’ Sri Wong Soon Koh, who together with former Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party President, Tan Sri William Mawan, announcing their new party Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak (Teras). Also joining them were the G4 Datuk Peter Nansian (Tasik Biru) Datuk Slyvester Entri (Marudi) Paulus Gumbang (Batu Danau) and Rosy Yunus (Bekenu). Also joining them was George Lagong (Pelagus).
Chin had said the three were issued letters asking them to clarify on May 20 but there was never any reply from them, thus they were expelled.
He pointed out that it was up to Jerip to take whatever legal he deemed possible to sue him.
