砂人联党迎来55周年党庆
砂拉越人民联合党即将在6月4日举行传统的升旗礼以庆祝我党创党55周年。 砂人联党总部以及州内各个支分部都会举办别具意义及充满代表性的升旗礼，纪念我党在1959年6月4日创党。 随着社团注册局不久前证实我党中央领导层及两个支部的合法性之后，虽然党内发生了一些始料不及的事件，党员上下仍因为我党如今以更强的形势回到州和国家的政治圈子而感到高兴。 一由党中央青年团和妇女组为首的工委会如今已如火如荼投入筹备工作，筹组预定在6月4日（星期三）上午9时假我党总部举行的升旗礼。 升旗礼工委会主席兼青年总团长陈开呼吁所有党员和支持者出席并见证当天早上的升旗礼，分享这份喜悦。 “现在是全体党员和支持者重新团结起来，再创昔日辉煌的时候了，不管他们的年龄和性别，种族或宗教为何。党员领袖如今一定要抛开个人成见精诚团结，唯有如此才能获得人民的信赖。来临的党庆就是大家团结在一起的最佳时机！”
妇女组批新党影响国阵团结
砂人民力量党的组成及申请加入国阵的举措，不仅已严重违反国阵精神，同时也已经伤害到成员党的利益。 事实上，该党的成立在一定意义上无异于倡导成员党搞分裂而不是通过协商管道解决问题，单是该党的成立便对成员党在州国阵的团结造成破坏。 有鉴于此，砂人联党中央妇女组强烈谴责该党卑尔骚和诗巫支部妇女组主席李素霞和拿督刘文惠，在仍然持有党职的情况下，公开宣布她们对砂人民力量党的支持。 砂人民力量党的组成破坏国阵成员党的团结，不仅是人联党，民进党和人民党均已公开表态强烈反对该党加入国阵。 “李素霞和刘文慧必须对她们的行为负责。她们应该辞去所有党职后才能够公开发表类似言论”，砂人联党中央妇女组主席郑丽萍如是称。
