SUPP Central Women Section on Teras

SUPP Central Women Section led by Chairperson, Tnay Li Ping, demanded that former SUPP Piasau and Sibu branch’s women section chairmen Suzanne Lee and Dato’ Janet Lau, take full responsibility of their own actions for openly voicing their support to TERAS while still holding their respective party posts.

Tnay said it was a shame that the two veteran women did not vacate their respective posts in the party before making such declaration.

She said Parti Tenaga Rakyat Sarawak’s (TERAS) application to join state Barisan is a serious violation against the BN spirit because it harms the interests of other component parties. In fact, the formation of TERAS is in a sense, promoting dissention instead of the need to be consolidated among BN components. Its formation alone is conceivably devastating and destructive to the unity among component parties.

“TERAS’s formation has in fact caused a certain amount of disunity in the state BN component – aside from SUPP, the SPDP as well as PRS, have also rejected TERAS’s application to join Barisan. The two women should take full responsibilities of their own actions,” she added.
