Adam Yii presents MRP grants to 25 organisations in Miri
Miri Mayor and Pujut assemblyman Adam Yii today presented a total of RM92,000 in Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants to 25 community, religious, and educational organisations at the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Pujut Branch Service Centre.
Yu said the grants, provided by the Sarawak Government, are intended to assist organisations in carrying out community activities, enhancing members’ welfare, and contributing to social development.
He said the funding could be used to support the organisations’ daily operations as well as organise programmes that benefit the community and promote local development.
Yii added that the government hopes to strengthen community unity and foster a more harmonious society through the efforts of community organisations.
He called on all recipient organisations to make good use of the grants and maximise their impact to bring greater benefits to the community.
The recipients were the Miri clubs, schools, associations and welfare agencies.
