Dato Ir. Lo Khere Chiang, Sarawak State Legislative Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, represented Datuk Sebastian Ting, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, at the opening of the Torabera ACG Festival at The Spring Mall, Kuching today.
The festival, celebrating Anime, Comics, and Games (ACG), draws enthusiasts, creators, and communities from across Sarawak and beyond, providing a platform for local talent, cultural exchange, and youth engagement.
Speaking on behalf of YB Datuk Sebastian Ting, YB Dato Ir. Lo Khere Chiang said, “The ACG Festival is more than a gathering of fans; it is a celebration of imagination, innovation, and cultural expression. Events like this have the potential to strengthen our creative industry, inspire the younger generation, and attract tourism to Sarawak. The Ministry is proud to support such initiatives and will continue to encourage platforms that showcase the diverse talents of our people.”
The festival features cosplay showcases, creative art exhibitions, gaming competitions, merchandise booths, and cultural performances, making it one of Kuching’s most anticipated youth-driven events.
