Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) here yesterday received two hearing screening machines donated by Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Central Women Section and the other machine by Thomas Mueller and Woo Wan Kui.
Chairwoman of SUPP Women Central, Amy Tnay handed a cheque for RM20,000 which is the cost of the machine and the device or machine to SGH Director, Dr. Chin Zin Hing
The two machines are for use by the hospital’s Otorhinolaryngology Department.
Dr. Chin said treatments carried out at the government hospitals were heavily subsidized by the government and as such, SGH appreciated and welcomed help from individuals or the private sector. He thanked the donors of the two devices yesterday and welcomed more of such donation from kind people.
