Lo: Students should participate in sports
Batu Kitang Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang expressed his pleasure that the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and the school at SK Jalan Arang worked well together for the sake of the students.
Speaking at its annual sports Day, Lo said children should have sport activities instead of concentrating on their academic only as such extra activity would keep them healhty and beneficial for their physical and mental well beings.
He said this would also be a good time for them to show their talents in whatever sports they are.
To students who are competiting, Lo wished them the best and said losers should not take it to heart as competitions is not all about winners but the grace of losers who can make their shortcomings to do better in future.
