Funds to repair dilapidated school building
Piasau State Assemblyman, Dato’ Sebastian Ting together with Sekolah Kebangsaan Syed Othman Miri Parents Teachers Association, Headmaster, community leaders and Education department officers went for a site inspection on the building.
After a pupil has an accident last August due to the dilapidated school conditions, the Ministry of Education had approved RM 500 thousand for the new building and RM 35 thousand to renovate the school.
The construction will start at the end of November and is expected to be completed in June 2017.
