沈桂贤:水利灌溉局的角色愈发重要

砂副总理拿督阿玛沈桂贤表示,砂拉越水利灌溉局(DID)将持续强化其技术与创新角色,推动以科技、创新及思维转型为基础的可持续发展,符合“砂拉越迈向繁荣2030”的总体方向。 他说,水利灌溉局作为技术机构,在确保砂拉越基础建设发展符合永续原则、兼顾环境平衡方面,扮演着关键角色。 “水利灌溉局是承担重大责任的技术机构之一,全国获政府正式认可的技术机构仅有数个,包括公共工程局(JKR)与水利灌溉局(DID)。” 他是在出席于本月周五晚举行的2025年砂拉越水利灌溉局感恩晚宴上致词时,如是表示。 沈桂贤指出,随着气候变化与城市发展带来的挑战日益复杂,水利灌溉局的角色愈发重要,必须通过新思维与创新方法应对,包括在排水与防洪系统中引入“自然化”(naturalization)理念,以平衡工程与生态的关系。 “转型必须从思维开始,从我们自身的观念转变开始。正如我刚才提到的,当我们求学时,还没有人真正了解气候变化或意识到它的重要性。” 他感谢砂拉越水利灌溉局全体人员的敬业与专业精神,称该局已成为砂拉越永续与具韧性发展的关键支柱之一。 当晚仪式也举行颁发感谢证书、纪念牌与纪念品,由拿督阿玛沈桂贤亲自颁赠,以表扬水利灌溉局职员对砂拉越发展所作出的贡献。


沈桂贤主持美里仁爱医院启用礼

美里仁爱医院(Selesa Pacific Hospital)的重新启用,象征着砂拉越医疗部门在过去30年中,为加强砂拉越公共和私人医疗体系所做出的不懈努力。 砂拉越副总理兼公共卫生、房屋及地方政府部长拿督阿玛沈桂贤医生表示,医院的重新启用不仅是品牌的更新,更是砂拉越医护人员精神的延续,他们在砂拉越的发展议程中发挥了重要作用。 “这间30年前创办的仁爱医院的再次翻新。30年后的今天,我们再次来到这里,这对砂拉越的发展来说正逢其时。” 他在周五的医院启用仪式上,做此表示。 他表示,该医院自成立以来已接生超过1万1000名新生儿,成为为当地社区提供优质医疗服务的重要组成部分。 拿督阿玛沈桂贤医生强调,砂拉越的医疗体系得益于公共部门和私营部门的密切合作,这种合作关系是砂拉越应对资源和人力短缺挑战的强大基石。 同时,他赞扬,砂拉越医护人员在资源有限的情况下依然保持卓越表现的精神。 他表示,按照全国标准,砂拉越仍然面临45%的病床短缺和54%的医生短缺,这表明迫切需要提升砂拉越的医疗能力。 “这并不是因为砂拉越没有努力,而是因为该体系仍然需要联邦政府给予更多的关注和支持。” 在这方面,他呼吁联邦政府依据卫生白皮书的实施,增加国家卫生领域拨款,确保砂拉越的卫生发展继续跟上国家的进步。 出席启动仪式的还有砂拉越交通部长兼史纳汀区立法议员拿督斯里李景胜、砂旅游、创意产业及表演艺术部副部长兼卑尔骚区立法议员拿督陈超耀、以及国会上议员刘会耀。
