Chia Kah Furng Says Politicians Must Show Maturity

SUPP Piasau Branch Youth Deputy Secretary Chia Kah Furng has called on politicians to demonstrate maturity, saying that minor mistakes such as the improper display of the national flag should not be sensationalised into political issues, as this only creates unnecessary conflict and division in the country. He cited the recent incident in Penang where a national flag was accidentally hung upside down. Investigations confirmed it was merely a mistake, yet a short video clip triggered an overreaction that led to business closures, public anxiety, and a heavy police presenceRead More
