砂旅游、创业产业及表演艺术部副部长拿督陈超耀强调，传统中医文化在传承数千年的历史进程，不仅是医术而已，也注重在医德来为苍生做保健与医疗。 他说，做为传统中医药文化重要结构医德，也是中华文化最宝贵的精神财富之一，闪耀着人性与理性的光芒，崇尚“生命至重、惟人最尊、医乃仁术、济人为本”的苍生大医信念。 拿督陈超耀副部长昨晚为“婆罗洲妈祖文化节”中医义诊主持推介时说，所谓的苍生大医的精神，是“医贵乎精，仁术济世”，都有中医药圣贤所列的准绳，以苍生为贵。 他指出，正如在中医文化进程中，“苍生大医”层出不穷。如战国时期的扁鹊、汉代的张仲景、唐代的孙思邈、明代的李时珍、清代的王清任等，他们崇高的医德和杰出的医学成就名垂青史，成为医界楷模。 拿督陈超耀赞扬“婆罗洲妈祖文化节”在庆典大会会长许义华领导下，与筹委们在“传承妈祖文化，弘扬妈祖精神”，举办了一系列带有婆罗洲风味活动，当中包括了中医义诊活动。 他也赞扬参与“婆罗洲妈祖文化节”此次义诊的医师陈中兴、许爱丽，叶美伺、正康爱心中医钟其每，还有刘旂华任义诊顾问，以及助理们为有需要的社区民众付出爱心精神。 另外，“婆罗洲妈祖文化节”庆典大会会长许义华指出，妈祖文化的精髓之一，也涵盖以超群医术济世救人的大爱。 他表示，因此主办当局在举办“婆罗洲妈祖文化节”庆典，在进行一系列庆祝活动里，也举办了中医义诊活动，传播妈祖的仁医爱心，以造福社区有需要民众。 许义华声称，在“婆罗洲妈祖文化节”一连三天（18日至20日）晚间，在毕打拿忠福宫所举行的中医义诊活动，皆获得有需要社区民众热烈来参与；他感谢庆典筹委与义诊的医师所付出努力，使得义诊活动取得成果。 参与此项“婆罗洲妈祖文化节”中医义诊推介仪式，尚有砂总理署政治秘书许德婉、方文祥太平局绅、庆典大会会长许义华、顾问薛华东等人。

美里省象棋公会将于本月30日派遣队伍，前赴古晋参加由三马拉汉省象棋公会协办的2025年东马象棋锦标赛。本次美里省代表队伍获得拿督陈超耀颁授旗帜，为美里省象棋代表队伍壮行。 名誉领队兼美里省象棋公会主席黄新漳称，本届东马赛由砂拉越象棋联合会承办，三马拉汉省象棋公会协办。通过该项赛事，遴选出优胜棋手以备战接下来的各式各样更高层次的比赛,例如；亚洲象棋锦标赛、亚洲象棋团体赛，世界象棋锦标赛等等；所以可以说，东马象棋锦标赛是东马棋手迈向国际舞台的门槛。 美里队参与东马赛5个组别，分别是男子公开组、女子公开组、U18组，U16组及U12组。届时也有家长随队，估计约有50人出发前往猫城古晋。他指出，本次美里队有29人，以老带新的方式，其中约3分之1棋手皆为初次参与东马赛的新手，美里队立志奋发以交出佳绩。 拿督陈超耀也赞扬美里省象棋公会秉持发扬棋运精神。他说象棋作为中国传统的智力运动，承载了丰富的文化底蕴和智慧。每一步棋都蕴含着思考和决策，正如工作和生活中作每一次抉择一样。比赛不仅是友谊的交流，更是智慧的碰撞.他勉励美里棋手们能够在比赛中充分展现自己的风采，以友谊和竞技的方式去面对挑战。拿督陈超耀祝愿美里选手们能够为美里争光，不负众望！
