Deputy Minister of Tourism, Datuk Sebastian Ting launched the “MADANI Malaysia Rahmah Sales Promotion” organized by the Ministry of Domestic Trade at SL Supermarket in Miri. 脚车潮玩运动场深受欢迎
耗资60万令吉美里人造湖公园内的脚车潮玩运动场（Pump Track）建竣启用后，广受美里民众欢迎，成为时下成人和青少年喜爱消磨时光的休闲场所。 砂旅游、创意产业及表演艺术部副部长（旅游）拿督陈超耀昨日从古晋返回美里后就抽空到美里人造湖公园内的脚车潮玩运动场视察，并与在场民众交流，收集他们的意见。 他与在场的小朋友和家长交流互动，也不忘视察了解美里人造湖公园仍可提升设施的空间。 他亲身感受到新建成的脚车潮玩运动场深受青少年的欢迎，并感到欣慰，因为在场不少民众都有赞无弹。 据了解，陈超耀透过乡区转型拨款下执行这项工程，而长达251米的脚车潮玩运动场符合国际标准，成为全球第1058个符合国际规格的赛道。美里更因此跃升为大马首个拥有国际标准车潮玩运动场的城市。 美里市政局已接管后续的美化工程，初步构思的第二阶段工程除了美化工程，也希望能进一步优化脚车潮玩运动场内的硬体设施，包括搭建小舞台、围栏及增设灯光照明，为大家带来更优质的使用体验。
陈超耀：罗东海边兴建临时防浪堤
罗东临时兴建的防浪堤高2.5米，以5000吨巨岩筑起坚固屏障，强化抵御巨浪侵袭! 砂旅游部副部长拿督陈超耀说，为有效抵御巨浪冲击，保障沿岸公路安全，罗东海边正在兴建一条高2.5米的临时防浪堤，并投下5000吨巨岩构筑坚固防线。 他说，即便在恶劣天气下，该防浪堤也能有效削弱海浪冲力，防止沿海公路被海水侵蚀。 据本报记者了解，该防浪堤依据道路海拔1.5米的基础建造，由升阳集团以企业社会责任方式兴建，全长260米的巨岩堆积，防浪堤的高度约2.5米左右。 该工程于上周二正式启动，目前已完成超过60%，预计5日（周三）全面竣工。 随着临时防浪堤即将完工，罗东沿海居民及道路使用者将暂时告别巨浪侵袭的困扰，而即将展开的长期防浪堤工程，则将为该地区提供更稳定、更持久的防护屏障。 “未来，随着两项防浪堤工程的相继落地，罗东海岸有望彻底摆脱海浪侵袭威胁，确保社区安全无虞，并促进当地经济与民生发展。”
