Deputy Tourism Minister, Datuk Sebastian Ting launches Rahman sales promotion in Miri
Deputy Minister of Tourism, Datuk Sebastian Ting launched the “MADANI Malaysia Rahmah Sales Promotion” organized by the Ministry of Domestic Trade at SL Supermarket in Miri.
He urged the public to take advantage of the promotion to purchase essential goods at discounted prices.
The promotion runs for two days, from yesterday to today, operating from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m with the aim to help reduce the cost of living and provide direct economic relief to the people.
“This initiative is an important effort by the government to assist the people, ensuring that more families can benefit,” said Ting.
The promotion covers 22 types of essential goods, with discounts ranging from 10% to 30%. These include cooking oil, rice, salad, sardines, fish, garlic, and other household necessities.
“These are essential daily items for families, and we hope that by offering them at lower prices, we can further ease the financial burden of the people,” he added.
He also revealed that last year, a total of 130 similar sales events were held nationwide. He hopes to see more such promotions this year to further benefit communities. He encouraged the public to seize this opportunity to purchase necessities at affordable prices.
