Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui went round kampungs in Batu Kawa looking for Lemang. Dr Sim said this is a must-have traditional food for Hari Raya in Sarawak. While there, Dr Sim said both Lemang at Kpg Sinar Budi Lama and Kpg Rantau Panjang are in great demand for Hari Raya Open House in Kuching. He learned they produced a few thousands sticks of lemang over the few days of Raya every year per stall at each of the above Kampung.
沈桂贤：砂人民团结实现2030年目标
砂拉越人需要保持团结，以便根据2030年后冠病发展战略让砂拉越能够实现2千820亿令吉的国内生产总值（GDP）目标。 副总理拿督阿玛沈桂贤在发表开斋节献词中表示，在只剩下6年时间的情况下，必须优先考虑2030年后冠病发展战略目标。 “我们只剩下6年的时间来实现目前仅有1千710亿令吉的国内生产总值。” 他说，一旦完成目前，砂拉越不仅将转型为高收入州属，家庭也将享有更高的收入。 他说，当人们团结起来时，没有人可以阻止砂拉越到了2030年实现繁荣、包容和环境可持续发展。 也是砂公共卫生、房屋及地方政府部长的沈桂贤补充说，砂拉越现在正处于“国家建设”的重要阶段，州政府开始推动经济增长走向更大的发展。 他说，这可以从砂拉越政府承诺到2026年在国立大学提供免费高等教育以及重新获得医疗和教育自主权中看出。

Chairman of SUPP Batu Lintang branch, Sih Hua Tong with DBKU Mayor, Hilmy Othman gave out 25 pax of cake-making ingredients to each household families on Sunday afternoon. 沈桂贤拨款提升民立中学设施
砂政府除了常年拨款给独中及承认统考，现在又协助独中硬体建设。 砂副总理兼石角区议员拿督阿玛沈桂贤通过其乡村转型发展计划，为石角民立中学兴建一栋雨盖篮球场，方便及为该校师生提供一个更好的体育场所。 石角民立中学新篮球场建成后，属於露天球场，这种情况引起沈桂贤的关注，特别是在炎热气候期间，不能为学生提供一个阴凉的体育场所，因此他决定为该校策划兴建一栋雨盖球场。 随着他将此发展计划列入其乡村转型发展计划之一，工程获得当局批准，并由巴达旺市议会负责执行。 巴达旺市议会已在昨日将工程合约移交给承包商，即SYARIKAT ARUS MEKAR，此工程斥资35万2300令吉，工程从今年4月4日到9月3日，为期5个月。换句话，石角民立中学师生将在年底享有免受日晒雨淋的雨盖篮球场。 石角民立中学属於全砂14所独中之一，也是石角选区唯一的一所独中，自从砂政府给予砂独中常年拨款后，已减轻或支援董事会的办学经费，民中也从这项拨款中受惠。 此外，已启用的新教学楼，砂政府也拨款50万作为建设经费。 拿督阿玛沈桂贤非常重视独中教育发展，除了经常参与和出席该独中活动，每年也拨款作为提升教师福利。
