YAP HANDED OVER MRP GRANTS

Sentosa State Assemblyman, Wilfred Yap expressed his thanks and gratitude to Leftenan Kolonel Mohd Fuad Bin Nazri, Commanding Officer (Pegawai Memerintah) of the 11th Battalion Royal Malay Regiment (Battalion ke 11 Rejimen Askar Melayu DiRaja) for the invitation to join in their Majlis Iftar dan Ambang Aidil Fitri at Kem Semenggo.

“In our multiracial, multicultural and multireligious nation, let us all celebrate Ramadhan and the coming Aidilfitri with others of different faith or religions in the spirit of togetherness as one people. We are all one people regardless of our race or religion. Let this Iftar event be a celebration that showcase “Unity In Diversity” that promotes giving, sharing and caring for all regardless of their race or religion and be a time of fellowship, friendship and building up mutual understanding and respect for each other,’ he said.

During the event, Yap handed over his MRP grant of RM150,000 to Tabung Kebajikan Rejimen (TKR) 11 RAMD Kem Semenggo to support their community and welfare activities. The cheque of RM10k was handed over to the commanding officer, Mohd Fuad Bin Nazri.

During the same event, YB Wilfred Yap also handed over his MRP grant of RM5,000.00 to Tabika Kemas 11 RAMD Kem Semenggo to assist them in organising more educational activities for this school year.
