美里市长兼埔奕区州议员俞小珊日前代表砂其他宗教事务单位移交40万令吉拨款予美里卫理希望之家，充作美里卫理希望之家的建费。 在场包括砂旅游、创意产业及表演艺术部副部长（旅游）兼卑尔骚区议员拿督陈超耀律师。 俞小珊表示，砂政府关注各宗教及族群的团结与和谐，且对各宗教与族群一视同仁的提供援助，希望砂拉越继续维持宗教与种族和谐的典范。 美里卫理希望之家建委会主席黄声语表示，全新的美里卫理希望之家耗资300万令吉，于2020年4月动工，现今仅剩约5%工程未完工，例如水电等工程，预计可于这个月杪竣工。
