Handing over UNIFOR cheque to Methodist Hope centre
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting who is also Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts (Tourism) of Sarawak and State Assemblyman for Pujut, Adam Yii recently handed over RM400,000 to the Miri Methodist Hope House on behalf of other religious affairs organizations in Sarawak for the construction of the Miri Methodist Hope House.
Ting said Sarawak government pays attention to the unity and harmony of all religions and ethnic groups, and provides assistance to all religions and ethnic groups without discrimination. She hopes that Sarawak will continue to maintain a model of religious and racial harmony.
A Miri Methodist Hope House construction Committee, said that the brand new Miri Methodist Hope House cost RM3 million and construction started in April 2020.
The project is expected to be completed very soon.
