GPS accepts Yang di-Pertuan Agong to form a unity federal government
Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) has accepted the decision by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah to form a unity government at the federal level to prevent a hung parliament, said Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg. 砂总理：行动党须尊重砂人联党
砂盟主席兼砂总理阿邦佐哈里表示行动党的道歉表明了砂盟过去一直以来都秉持廉洁政治，者与行动党毫无根据的批评不同。 不过，他表示砂盟以开放的心态和广阔的胸襟接受行动党的道歉，唯一的条件是行动党必须尊重人联党。 他说，行动党的道歉表明他们承认自己的错误，同时希望开启新的篇章。而在他们这样做的同时，他希望行动党也能尊重砂盟成员党之一的人联党。 阿邦佐哈里召开砂盟最高理事会议后的发布会上针对行动党中央秘书长陆兆福今早前来古晋拜会他，并在会面中也代表行动党对过去曾经冒犯砂拉越政府和人民的言论而公开道歉作此评论称。 除了陆兆福外，作为行动党主席的林冠英随后也在个人面书专页上帖文向砂政府及人民对于过往曾经冒犯的言论而道歉。 对于此事，阿邦佐哈里表示砂盟以开阔的胸襟接受行动党的道歉。 当媒体问及陆兆副是否有邀请砂盟共同组建政府一事时，阿邦佐哈里没有对方只是前来道歉，并没有提及组建政府一事。
