SUPP member, Lai Huat Choi’s demise a loss to the party, said Deputy Premier, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian

Prof. Lai Huat Choi who graduated in PhD in Philosophy (Physical Chemistry) last month passed away yesterday morning in Kuala Lumpur after a short sickness. Bicycle lane and jooging footpath at Jalan Peninsula

Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting went with his team to check out the site visit on the projects along Jalan Peninsula (in front of Kpg Pulau Melayu and Golf Club Miri). Ting said the project was announced by our Premier YAB Abg Jo during his walkabout in MIRI and the amount of RM 3 million was approved to construct two lanes for bicycle and a jogging footpath. The total length is 3.2 KM (1.6KM each lane). Ting added by June 2022, the tracks will be completed.


甘榜布劳马来尤脚车道6月竣工

砂旅游、创意产业及表演艺术部副部长(旅游)拿督陈超耀律师表示,来回3.2公里的甘榜布劳马来尤脚车道工程延期至6月竣工。 此项耗资300万令吉的脚车道工程,建在美里高尔夫球俱乐部入口处外,来回的2条脚车道,每条全长1.6公里,来回总共为3.2公里,脚车道从美里高尔夫球俱乐部一直延伸到美里河口。 这项脚车道休闲设施是在砂总理拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里推行的人民工程计划拨款下展开,可以供脚车及行人使用,进而提倡一个健康生活文化的休闲场地,为一家大小提供骑脚车或是散步空间,这也是总理在竞选宣言中提及的为美里人民提倡一个健康休闲生活其中一个宣言。 拿督陈超耀说,此项工程于去年12月展开,但基于一些修改,原订于今年5月完工的工程延迟至6月才全面竣工启用。 他说,这项由砂政府推行的人民工程计划展开的工程,让美里民众从中受惠,鼓励民众进行有益身心健康运动,促进大家的健康生活,因此在竣工启用,可吸引更多民众前来骑脚车。


RTP funds for Lutong primary school

Sarawak Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting visited Lutong primary school where he had helped with funds from Rural Transformation Programme(RTP) for infrastructure projects. Ting who is also Piasau State Assemblyman said under his RTP 2021, he allocated RM 120,000 to help the school to construct a drop off point and a shaded walkway for the pupils in time of heavy rain. As schools will be reopening soon, the project was completed ahead of schedule, in time to welcome our students.
