Do wear your masks out, says Dr Sim

Sarawak Local government and Housing Minister, Dato’ Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian warned that even after 2 doses of vaccination, it does not necessarily mean that the individual has immunity. Vaccines passport, he said, does not mean we have antibodies to protect us. “We still need to wear masks, keep physical distance until 70-80% of the population is vaccinated.Vaccination will decrease our chances of being infected, and less severe if we are unfortunately infected,” he explained. A new batch of pfizer arriving in Kuching international airport from Belgium

Another weekly scheduled Pfizer vaccine from Belgium arrived in Kuching International Airport today. Sarawak Local government and Housing, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian said this batch is part of Program Imunisasi COVID19 Kebangsaan (PICK). This was made possible due to close collaboration, coordination, cooperation between the Federal Government and Sarawak Gov at a time of crisis like now, allowing extraordinary vaccines to be rolled out for the people of Sarawak.
