Dr Sim identifies CCTV at 18 strategic location in Batu Kawa
Ministry of Local Government and Housing Sarawak will cooperation with Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) to install CCTVs at 18 strategic location in Batu Kawa. Batu Kawah assemblyman Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian and Padawan Municipal council secretary Elizabeth had identified the location yesterday. 砂地方政府及房屋部与砂多媒体机构合作在石角18个地区安装闭路电视的工程，即将进入公开招标阶段。 石角区议员拿督斯里沈桂贤日前在巴达旺市议会秘书伊丽莎白的陪同下，巡视并鉴定安装闭路电视的地点。 他表示，当局将会在近期处理公开招标程序，之后就可以进行安装。 石角区将安装闭路电视的地区分别是：古晋城市广场A/B、德莎威拉A/ B，emart 商业中心A /B, emart 商业中心附近，石角新市镇A /B /C/ D /E，石角新市镇市集，石角BK square,石角老巴刹，石角河滨公园，石角38商业中心和石角斯里味源花园。 实际上，这项提升和加强公共场所安全措施的计划，是涵盖4个地方议会，即古晋南市市政局、古晋北市市政局、巴达旺市议会及三马拉汉市议会，总共超过800架闭路电视，将分布在大古晋（Greater Kuching）200个地点，主要集中在人口稠密，以及人流及车流量高地区。 古晋南市市政局有80个地点安装317架闭路电视、古晋北市市政局有80个地点安装310架闭路电视、巴达旺市议会有30个地点安装119架闭路电视，以及三马拉汉市议会有20个地点安装79架闭路电视。 所有闭路电视24小时操作，数据都输送至砂综合行动中心。
