Making Kuching a beautiful city
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg said he wants Kuching to be the most beautiful city in Malaysia following words of encouragement from the Prime Minister’s visit last month. 阿邦佐哈里:砂政府拨款复兴古晋市
砂首长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里披露,砂政府愿拨出款项落实古晋城市复新及改造面貌计划。 他说,为了让古晋城市转型至现代化及更有活力,并吸引游客带动旅游领域,除了提升城市设施外,州政府有意愿拨出款项,打造复新城市。 他表示,城市复新计划的落实,可从城市老街如浮罗岸区开始至河滨公园,当地有许多历史古迹,保留原有的历史遗迹外,从旧有的城市地区变成一个有灵魂及生气勃勃的地区。 “如今,有了达鲁哈娜桥黄金桥后,许多民众都会使用该桥,如今州政府继续发展州议会大厦前方的音乐喷泉,相信在建竣后,能够成为如新加坡及杜拜般,打造成古晋新的旅游景点。” 阿邦佐哈里是在古晋节美食同乐会开幕暨欢庆古晋市升格为市30周年庆典仪式上致词时,如是表示。 他感谢南市及北市市政局竭力打造为和谐及清洁,转型成为古晋宜居城市。他称,从以往古晋人口的30巴仙仅在城市,而70巴仙人口仅在郊区,如今转型成为城市60巴仙人口,郊区40巴仙人口的情况。 “在我过去担任旅游部长之时,也获得到来古晋旅客的赞赏是个清洁城市,这是值得感到欣慰的事情。” 他也盛赞南市推动数码先锋,在处理人民的问题上转型至现代手机方程式,这也是南市先驱及新的方式,民众可通过拍照方式上载民生问题,让南市可通过科技方式提升服务效率。 他透露,充满空气清新,绿意环境的古晋市,有它的吸引之处,就连日前到来古晋的首相敦马哈迪也赞赏从古晋国际机场至酒店的路途上,看到许多花朵,表示古晋的发展迅速。 出席者包括砂地方政府及房屋部长拿督沈桂贤、古晋南市市长拿督曾长青及北市市长拿督阿邦华合。

砂地方政府及房屋部长拿督沈桂贤主持该部门与建筑业者技术协商联合委员会会议,讨论如何将建筑计划审批过程标准化。 在会议上,数项课题成功获得获得解决,包括建筑计划的电子呈交系统(e-submission)。此外,也讨论残障人士的设施、如斜坡、厕所、垂直通道、楼梯、停车位及医院、诊所、餐馆及公共场合的指示牌等等。 参与会议者包括砂地方政府及房屋部常务秘书巴克利、砂拉越建筑师协会、建筑顾问协会、地方议会及土地与测量局的代表。
Plan to speed up approval
The Ministry of Local Government and Housing held a Joint Technical Consultative Committee (JTCC) meeting to discuss the standardisation of requirements and process to expedite building plan approval. In a statement following the meeting, a number of issues have been resolved. Among others, the meeting discussed on the preparedness of each agencies and practitioners on the implementation of e-submission of building plans. In addition, standardization of facilities for disabled people such as ramp, toilets, vertical access, stairs, parking space and signage at the hospital, clinics, restaurant and other public area were also discussed.
