人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师于日前移交16万令吉拨款予锡克庙。 他表示，砂政府维护民族和平，无论是什么宗教或种族，都享有平等的福利。 “砂拉越是一个多元种族的州，无论是和种族，大家都彼此尊重，可以共同坐在1间咖啡店喝茶，是回教堂、佛堂、基督教堂、印度教堂等都可坐落于隔邻，更是和睦共享停车场，不分你我，是全国的模范州。” 他说，最近由副首长拿督阿玛道格拉斯发出的非伊斯兰组织拨款中，美里共有4个团体受惠，除了锡克庙之外，还包括天主教会、圣公会及婆罗洲基督教会。
学院生投诉遭导师掌掴

Assault, harassment of a student in a local vocational institute
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap was worried that a student may be a victim of physical assault and called on the authorities concerned to have a proper investigation. Yap was recently approached by a student of a local vocational learning institute who claimed that he was physically slapped and verbally harassed by a lecturer without any proper justification.
