Concern for flooding by residents of Jalan Durian Burung
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) was recently approached by residents staying at Lorong 1, Jalan Durian Burung and its surrounding areas behind the ongoing Gala City Development. 砂首席部长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里表示，砂拉越曾经受到传染疾病的困扰，包括疟疾、结核病及手足口症，也面对医药保健供应严重短缺问题。 他指出，所幸在联邦卫生局的协助下，上述问题都可迎刃而解。 他说，除了传染疾病之外，砂拉越也面对非传染疾病，如糖尿病、高血压、烟草使用并发症及癌症等困扰。 他强调，未来仍有许多关于医药领域的挑战等待克服，因此，他希望本地举行的2017年第5届亚太平洋公共卫生大会，可以为砂拉越、马来西亚及整个国际社会探讨更好的解决方案，让世界更为健康。 阿邦佐哈里是于昨晚在2017年第5届亚太平洋公共卫生大会开幕礼上致词时，这么表示。 出席此活动者包括砂地方政府及房屋部长拿督沈桂贤及砂卫生局长查米拉。 首长表示，砂拉越卫生护理的设施上，3大主要医院为砂拉越中央医院、诗巫医院和美里医院，同时其他设施还包括省级医院、一马诊所、公共卫生诊所、乡区诊所及私人医院。 他坦言，相对城市卫生服务的普及化，许多居住在乡区的居民，还无法享有完善的医疗服务。
美里杜当徙置区水供工程展开
人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师为美里杜当徙置区的居民送上好消息，即当地的水供工程即将展开。 他是日前在砂拉越乡区水供部门的官员陪同下，前往当地会见居民时，宣布这项消息。 根据相关工程师指出，他们已经展开地区勘察工作，并且会在这个星期内展开工程，希望在圣诞节之前可以完成水供设施的装置。
Water and piping project for Miri
Piasau state assemblyman, Dato Sebastian Ting officiated at the handing over of water and piping project. According to Jabatan Bakalan Air Luar Bandar (JBALB) the contractor will start the work this week and will finish the project before Christmas.
