非政府组织移交善款
美里DCI Diamond Cutter组织筹获1750令吉，帮助筹募先天性失聪女童诺巴帝斯雅（Noor Batishia）进行耳蜗手术。 该组织代表于今日移交这笔捐款予人联党卑尔骚区州议员兼砂人工耳蜗协会主席拿督陈超耀律师。 2岁大的诺巴帝斯雅，其安装人工耳蜗手术医药费需要12万令吉。 她的手术将在古晋或美里举行。

The public has been very responsive as noted by the generosity shown when assistance was sought to collect funds for operations required for children. It was announced that DCI Diamond Cutter Miri has collected a total of RM1750 to assist two year old Noor Batishia cochlea implant. 砂拉越人民联合党在党总部设立研究及资源部门。 党副主席拿督李景胜说，党总部保存的书籍和资料，都具有历史意义。 他表示，这些书籍包括人联党过去领袖、国内政治人物及东南亚政治人物所撰写。同时，也有一些是来自英国。 他欢迎任何有兴趣者前往党总部翻查资料进行研究，不过他们不得把书籍和资料带走。

Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian says he had questioned Putra Jaya on the shortage of vaccine for victims when rabies was detected in Serian.
