15及16日分发一马援助金现金券
砂拉越人民联合党与古晋省公署将于本月15及16日举行分发一马援助金现金券予无提供银行户口的成功申请者。 分发活动将于当天上午9时至下午4时在人联党总部团结厅举行，此活动主要是分发给那些没有提供银行帐户的合格申请者。 省公署办事处负责人苏里莫达说，首批成功申请者有2千675名，他们可在上述时间与地点领取一马援助金现金券。 这些受会者分别来自以下选区：N9 浮罗岸（232名），N10崩岭（757名），N11 巴都林当（527名），N12哥打圣淘沙（135名）和N14石角（1024名）。 人联党中央资讯部兼助理执行秘书罗宇忠呼吁大众未前往人联党总部前，可浏览砂拉越人民联合党网站http://www.supp.org.my，以便事前查询本身名字是否列在其中，若有才前往。 这是因为此援助金搜索系统是为了方便公众查询申请一马援助金状态，以节省时间及其他不必要的麻烦。 有疑问请拨电082-246999至砂拉越人民联合党总部或拨打082-507051 / 082-507048至古晋省公署查询。

砂拉越人民联合党青年总团宣教秘书符祥威欢迎联邦政府将巴贡水坝转让给砂拉越政府的决定，并认为这项转让有助于刺激和推动砂拉越未来经济发展。 随着巴贡从联邦政府手中转让到砂拉越政府后，符祥威建议砂拉越政府应对现有的电费做出检讨，让砂拉越人民享有更便宜更廉价的能源，进而减轻人民经济负担。既然巴贡水坝可以生产大量能源，砂拉越人民应该优先享有这项水坝发展的实惠，包括尽快为未有能源供应的乡村内陆地区提供电源。 砂拉越地广人稀，内陆地区人口分布稀落，有一些住在内陆地区的人民从建国至今都没有水电供应，这对于富饶的砂土是说不过去的。砂国阵政府有这个社会责任和义务确保每一个砂拉越子民都能获得公平的水源和电源供应这项基本设施。 除此之外，这是砂拉越争取自主权方面，尤其是在经济层面上一项重大进展。 砂拉越还有多项自主权要从联邦政府手中拿回来，因此砂拉越政府需要砂民的强力支持以作为跟联邦政府依据1963年大马协议谈判权力归还和下放的后盾，特别是在即将来临的国会选举。
