Dinner hosted by the PM for MPs and Senators
Datuk Senator Dr Sim was among the BN Pre Council (MP and Senators) members who were present for 1st Meeting of The 5th Session of 13th Parliament, after which a dinner was hosted last night at the Sri Perdana.

Helping out flood victims in Salim
SUPP Bukit Assek Mobile Service Team responded to the needs of flood victims in Salim within two hours after they received a distress call. Bukit Assek Branch chairman Chieng Buong Toon said nearly 1,000 victims from eight longhouses needed their help. They managed to round up several essentials and foodstuff and went down to the ground to give out assistance. 武吉阿瑟流动服务团队援助灾黎
砂人联党武吉阿瑟支部流动服务团队在支部主席钱本统带领下，于日前现场勘查南甲沙廉一带长屋的涨水情况。 因几天的大雨和拉让江涨潮，造成南甲沙廉一带较低洼的地区涨水，交通中断，居民无法出门购买粮食。 该服务团队即刻展开食物救济行动，协助深受水灾影响的8座长屋，包括约瑟长屋、玛莉长屋、旦毕长屋、尼巴长屋、玛达沓丹长屋、玛丹长屋、巴金长屋及基丁长屋。
国阵复会例行会议
首相拿督斯里纳吉于前晚（5日）在官邸会见全体国阵国会议员和上议员，进行国会复会前例行会议。 国会是从3月6日开始召开至4月6日，而上议院则是从4月17日至27日。 砂人联党主席兼国会上议员拿督沈桂贤也出席这项会议。
美里残障举重选手世界赛载誉而归
来自美里的诺法丽查在第8届世界残障人士举重比赛中载誉而归，在机场获得家乡支持者与家人的热烈迎接。 她是于昨晚7时30分抵达美里机场，在场迎接者包括砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师。 她是于上个月25日至本月4日期间，参与在杜拜举行的赛会，获得第二名，令马来西亚、砂拉越和美里人感到骄傲。 陈超耀在场恭贺诺法丽查这项成就。 他说，诺法丽查在体育上取得杰出成绩，而更重要的是，她展现出正面与积极的精神，应对人生的挑战，这应该成为每个人的学习榜样。
