Chinese New Year visit to Simmanggang and Lingga
State Local government Minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian did a Chinese New Year visit to Kapitan Kueh (Lingga Branch Chairman), Kapitan Tay SIAW Chuan’s, Pemanca Lee Siang Hua and Datuk Francis Harden Hollis during his recent visit to Simmanggang and Lingga recently.

Local Government Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian said Sarawakian is how it is today because every race respects each other religion and tradition and through this harmony, the State can continue to progress and advance. 沈桂贤：各族必须持续加强团结
砂拉越地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤强调，砂人民有必要极力维护各族之间的彼此尊重与谅解精神，并且不断促进种族、宗教与文化的融合。 他说，惟有在各族团结的基础上，砂拉越才会持续发展与进步。 他提醒各族人民勿被煽动的言论影响。 他也表示，新上任的首长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里将延续已故首长丹斯里阿迪南未完了的心愿与政策，继续帮助华裔争取承认独中统考文凭、不让巫统东渡等等，加强国阵成员党之间的团结。 沈桂贤是日前受邀出席人联党成邦江及龙芽支部所联合主办的新春联欢晚会上致词时，如此表示。 他指出，成邦江区是人联党一个非常重要的选区。 “因为你们的支持，人联党才有今天。感谢你们给予法朗斯哈汀的支持，希望在将后的日子里，你们能够继续给予他鼎力的支持。“ 另一方面，他希望鲁巴河第二期的河滨公园可以在不久的将来开始动工，这样就能够更吸引外来的游客。他也透露，去年联邦拨款900万令吉作为维修道路的用途，而今年增加至1500万令吉。 他希望相关当局有了这笔拨款，能够修出更好的道路。 出席当晚晚宴者包括内政部副部长兼斯里阿曼国会议员玛西库扎、成邦江区州议员兼助理部长拿督法兰西斯哈登。
SUPP leaders at Tanjong Datu by-election polling day
SUPP leaders turned out to support the BN candidate at the Tanjong Datu state constituency by-election polling day. All 16 polling centres for the Tanjong Datu state constituency by-election were opened at 8am today for the 9,771 voters to cast their ballot and elect their new assemblyman. The process is going on smoothly despite a slight drizzle.

今日为丹绒拿督补选投票日，砂人联党于今早在伦乐为国阵加油打气。 砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤、中央秘书长兼卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师、署理秘书长薛华东、青年团团长陈开和首长政治秘书苏莉群等在伦乐中华小学，与国阵候选人拿督阿玛查米拉的幼子阿兹祖一起，为后者加油。 所有投票中心是从今早8时开始开放，补选成绩预计在晚上8时出炉。
