Dr Sim: respect and understand each other’s beliefs and traditions
Local Government Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian said Sarawakian is how it is today because every race respects each other religion and tradition and through this harmony, the State can continue to progress and advance.
He said this during the Chinese new year gathering hosted by Simanggang and Lingga branches at the SUPP headquarters at the Civic centre on Thursdaynight.
Dr. Sim said it is important that Sarawak should be harmonious as we have a diversifying number of races and religon and after enjoying the independence for over 50 years, we still live in harmony. This should be upheld so that the future generation will also live like us.
