Fire Hydrant inspection at Kampung Haji Baki
Lo Khere Chiang recently conducted a Fire Hydrant inspection at Kampung Haji Baki, together with Bomba personal from Batu Kitang. The purpose of the exercise is to ensure that the 27 fire hydrants in Haji Baki have the right pressure and in good working condition. It is important that Fire hydrants must be operable and capable of providing adequate pressure to meet any future eventualities.
Lo: helping out the elderly in Kpg Lidah Tanah.
Lo Khere Chiang took time off to visit and contributed a gift of a walker and diapers to an elderly resident of Kpg Lidah Tanah. The walker is expected to help in improving her mobility and encourages healthy aging through regular walking. Loh hopes that with an attitude of Love, care and treasure the elderly in our society, will bring more smiles to them.

砂人联党巴都吉当区州议员兼巴达旺市议会主席罗克强于日前在甘榜Lidah Tanah移交步行辅助器和成人纸尿片予该甘榜一名老妇。 他希望这可以帮助该马来老妇行动，让她有个更健康生活。 罗克强认为，年龄只是一个数字，若可以保持正确的生活习惯，保持活跃，老年生活会充满乐趣。 他强调社会上的乐龄人士须获得照顾，为他们带来欢乐。
沈桂贤出席上海国际食品饮料及餐饮设备展
砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤于日前在中国上海出席上海国际食品饮料及餐饮设备展览会。 这项展览会是由我国贸工部第二部长拿督斯里黄家泉主持开幕。 展览会共有超过2000个摊位，其中马来西亚企业的摊位有42个，推销的产品包括咖啡、榴莲和燕窝等。但来自砂拉越的企业摊位只有区区两个，分别是推销辣沙和椰子油产品。 这展览会在过去3天已经记录大约1亿令吉的销售量。
Reports made against Facebook page *Sarawak Keluar Malaysia 2021.*
According to a statement by Head of CID Dev Kumar, a total of 12 police reports have been lodged against the Facebook page *Sarawak Keluar Malaysia 2021.* Seven of the reports were lodged in Kuching, three in Miri and one each in Padawan and Serian, as of today 8 November. The police are investigating this case under section 4 (1) of the Sedition Act and section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act. The police are also tracing the administrator/s of the facebook page Sarawak Keluar Malaysia 2021.
Report lodged against Facebook account
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Youth Chairman, Tan Kai lodged a police report against a Facebook account on Monday night at the One Stop Centre, Simpang Tiga police station. Tan Kai said a Facebook account “Sarawak Keluar Malaysia 2021″ claimed that Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem denied that the latter had ever wanted to threaten to take Sarawak out of Malaysia if all problems were not solved. Sibujaya Public Library to be opened on weekends
Starting this month Sibujaya Public Library will be opened from 9am to 1pm on weekends. Cr Ho Kok Munting, Cr Halimah and Robert Lau visited the Library recently to gauge the respond, encouraged and thanked the staff for taking up the challenge. Lau also donated some books and the Economist magazine to the library. He is also pleased to see the staff have displayed the Economist magazines at the relevant shelf. State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang praised the Indian community for their kindness and generosity to all regardless of race or religion. Speaking at the Hare Krishna Multi purpose hall at Jalan Ketitir, Batu Kawa Kuching during the week end, Lo was invited to the ISKCON ( International Society for Krishna Consciousness ) Deepavali Open House Celebration 2016. “Although it was Deepavali celebration, all races from all communities were together in this beautiful celebration of lights! 刘会耀到访诗巫再也图书馆
从本月开始，诗巫再也公共图书馆会在周末照常开放，开放时间为上午9时至下午1时。 诗巫乡村议会署理主席刘会耀于日前连同市议员到访该图书馆，与该图书馆的职员交流，并感谢他们愿意在周末开放图书馆让公众使用。 刘会耀也不忘携带书本书籍和经济杂志捐给该图书馆。 他很高兴这些书籍和杂志都已经展示在书本柜上，这可以吸引更多人来到图书馆。 当天，他也遇到3名姐弟和他们的祖母前来图书馆借书和阅读。他告诉小孩们关于图书馆的规则，并鼓励他们多来图书馆阅读。他祝愿他们拥有美好的前程。
叶耀星出席双溪达邦中学毕业典礼
叶巴达旺市议会市议员兼人联党公共投诉局主任耀星日前代表砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤出席双溪达邦政府中学2016年度届毕业典礼及颁奖仪式 。 活动期间，叶耀星祝贺该校校长贝肯、家教协会会长黄国煌举办这个这么有意义的颁奖仪式以褒奖学生们的努力与成就。另外也借此机会表扬教师们的努力与教导有方。 叶耀星表示教育主要目标是培养具有全方位、终身学习、各种技能（如批判性思维，创造性思维，解决问题，创业技能）和创新能力的学生。 此外，叶耀星律师也恭贺双溪达邦中学成为第一所获得国际文凭组织（IB）认证成为IB国际学校的马来西亚政府中学。该课程主要着重在培养学生学术能力以外的技能。 叶耀星称只要学生们能坚持不懈的追求与努力，他们就能达到他们想达到的目标。他也希望得奖者能将他们的成就作为一个例子；只要有恒心，肯努力，做任何事情都能成功。 最后，叶耀星建议毕业生们要有信心面对未来无论是在工作上、大学、或技校所面对的难题。因为该校的教育基础已经赋予他们一定的能力。

罗克强提醒承包商施工须注意居民安全
砂人联党巴都吉当区州议员兼巴达旺市议会主席罗克强吁请承包商在施工时必须提高警惕，确保安全设施要做好，时时刻刻都要关注到人民的安全。 他是于昨日在巴都吉当区召开的媒体发布会时，如此表示。 他指出，承包商特别选择在晚上工作是因考虑该地方性的不便，并提醒大家都要处处小心，并不希望任何一方有意外发生。 同时，巴都吉当区居民代表张兴光希望，承包商多考虑该区道路使用者的安全问题，在填补后重新检查填补后的情况，因他发现该路洞填补得并不理想，及该区路段有许多重型车辆往返行驶。 他披露，承包商在晚上工作时因指示灯不足，及也不明确，在下雨天时会对老人、及视线不好者都造成困扰，及造成意外发生，因来自外坡的道路使用者对该路段的不熟悉，随时会紧急刹车等问题。 郊区水供局承包商公司工程师陈奕煌也对于该事件示，因巴都吉当至三玛拉汉武吉恩迪甘蓄水库及9又4分3哩蓄水库主要水供输管工程需用很大的水供输管，在没有选择之下，必须挖洞以埋于马路底下，但因考量在白天施工将导致更多道路使用者及人民不便，已是在晚上进行工程。 他指出，将会更多关注道路使用者及人民安全问题，尤其是修补回因施工而导致的马路“破洞”问题。
President Xi Jinping hope to visit Sarawak again
A Bilateral meeting between the President of China and the Malaysian Ministerial delegation was held on the forth day of the official visit of the Prime Minister to China. President Xi Jinping also recalled his last visit to Kuching and Sibu and expressed his hope of visiting Sarawak again.
