launching of the Malaysia Pavilion and Malaysia Online Sales
Dr Sim is happy to have the opportunity to join YBDS Ong Ka Chuan, Minister of International Trade & Industry Malaysia, for the launching of the Malaysia Pavilion and Malaysia Online Sales at the 20th FHC (Food Hospitality & Catering) 2016, Shanghai.
More than 2000 international exhibitors in FHC, including 42 from Malaysia, took part (coffee, durian, bird nests) but unfortunately only two from Sarawak participated (coconut oil and laksa).
The exhibition was held for over three days , and is expected to generate RM100 million worth of sales.
Dr Sim stressed that though our roots are in Sarawak, but our future is the world market – such as China, which has 1.3 billion population, geographically close, as well as having a shared culture.
