亚答街文化缤纷庆中秋
砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤于日前出席在亚答街举行的古晋文化缤纷庆中秋活动。 他在场参与提灯笼游行，还与当地民众交流。 他对于类似中秋节活动的举行，成功促进各族人民的和谐感到高兴，同时他认为这也可吸引游客前来，将本地独特的文化与他们分享。

Ninety nine stalls were set up at the Old Batu Kawah town which started on Friday and will end on Sept 18. 沈桂贤为石角中秋美食节开幕
砂地方政府部部长兼石角区州议员拿督沈桂贤于日前莅临石角老巴刹，为石角中秋美食节主持开幕。 配合即将到来的中秋佳节，石角老巴刹举办的中秋美食节今晚获得拿督沈桂贤到来主持开幕，并获得瑞狮的热情迎接。 其他受邀的嘉宾包括天猛公陈如飞、拿督叶金来、首长政治秘书陈开、石角区领袖本固鲁田胜芳、甲必丹蔡南锦、社区领袖、石角天师爷公会名誉主席、石角区各社团顾问及主席、石角区各校校长等出席参与其盛。 在开幕仪式过后，拿督沈桂贤也在众人的陪同下，向美食节的各摊主及现场民众握手问好。 沈桂贤表示，砂拉越的各族和谐必须获得维护，而通过佳节共庆，可达致这目的。 他说，夜市是非常好的活动，可以让各族人民相聚在一起，而且也提供谋取生计的机会给小贩。 该项别开生面充满老街风味，具有中华文化色彩的中秋美食节于9月10日开始举行至18日一连9晚，每天从傍晚6时正至晚上11时，于石角老巴刹举行，让各民族聚集一堂，同欢共庆中秋佳节。
Electricity for Tudan Desaras
State Assemblyman for Piasau, Dato’ Sebastian Ting, said electricity cables are now being installed at Tudan Desaras. He hoped that the installation of electric meters would be completed within the coming two weeks.
