Dates to remember on Merdeka Day
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Dato’ Sebastian Ting who is also the State Assemblyman for Piasau reminded Sarawakians not to forget the interest of Sarawak and to educate the younger generation of the actual date of how Malaysia was formed. 陈超耀：砂人民应知道3个有意义日子
砂人联党中央秘书长兼卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师希望砂人民积极灌输下一代有关马来西亚成立的正确日子。 他说，砂人民不应忘记有关砂拉越的权益，以及马来西亚是何时成立的。 他表示，3个具有意义的日子，是1963年7月22日砂拉越自治日、1957年8月31日马来亚独立日和1963年9月16日的马来西亚成立日。 对于今年在斯里阿曼举行的国庆日州级庆典，陈超耀指出，这庆典同样获得砂人联党的参与。 他强调，砂人民应该要珍惜及感恩先贤让我们享有的和平与安宁日子，并且持续维持这种精神。
