Minister of Local Government, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian with SUPP members, visited the residents at Taman Desa Wira, Kpg Dayak Foochow and Sg Apong. 直属议员应回归人联党与民进党
砂拉越人民联合党呼吁9名以国阵直属候选人身份中选的候任州议员不要加入土保党，应重回人联党及民进党的怀抱。 针对9名候任州议员申请入籍土保党的课题，人联党促请土保党严正看待此事。 砂人联党将持续关注此事的进展，因为这将对砂拉越的未来产生深远影响，土保党的最后决定也将会创造新的政治走向。 其实，人联党早在州选前已反对国阵直属候选人制度，如今土保党已有40个席位，若再加上9名直属候任州议员的加入，土保党将在砂州82个州议席中占有49席，形成一党独大的局面。 党认为，国阵必须将席位公平划分给4个国阵成员党，取得政治势力的平衡，一党独大是非常不健康的政治走向。 人联党向来强烈反对一党独大主导砂州或全国其他州属。 人联党自成立以来一直坚持由多元民族组成和运作，向来反对单一种族概念主导的政党。 对人联党而言，最重要的是多元种族、宗教、文化和语言社会的政权能享有政府平等的待遇，以维持种族和睦。而种族和谐会因单一种族政党统治形式而受到破坏。
SUPP strong objection against political dominance
SUPP, in a recent statement, have always maintained a strong objection against any one political party becoming dominant in Sarawak and in the rest of the country. We have always objected to any political party that is dominant based on single-ethnicity concept.
