沈桂贤率团拜会阿邦佐哈里
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员率领党教育局成员及党领袖，礼貌拜会房屋及旅游部长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里。 一行人是前往部长位于房屋部的办公室，进行礼貌拜会。 随行的还包括古晋中华第四中学校董会，在行程上，众人向部长提及四小扩建计划，该计划内容概括增建一栋新校舍，以舒缓目前四小所面对的课室拥挤及教师办公室空间不足的问题。 出席者包括砂人联党教育局主任陈冠勳、妇女组主席拿汀徐美丽、古晋华小校董会秘书长古佛保、财政田承志、理事蔡文铎、陈月华、黄楚香及谢维光。
陈开：政府应推出更多利民方案
砂人联党青年团总团长陈开希望政府能够推出更多利民的方案，以减低油价上涨所带来的冲击。 他说，政府调高油价，实际上也减少了对于津贴油价的负担，同时，此举可助于减低国内汽油走私的问题，因为过去以来，我国的汽油价格因为比邻国低，因此常常被不法份子走私，把我国汽油转售至邻国。 无论如何，他认为RON95汽油和柴油价格上涨20仙，对于民众来说肯定会带来一定的冲击。 因此，他希望政府能够推出有效和直接的方案，减轻人民负担。 他表示，油价上涨后，人们担心食物及日常用品的价格也会提高。对此，政府有必要透过监督，压制商家趁机抬高物价，并希望借着一马援助金，能帮助减轻人民经济压力。

Sarawak United Peoples’ Party Youth Chief, Tan Kai said it was unfortunate that petrol price has to increase. 人联党近日成立以叶耀星律师为首的公共投诉局以加强人民对于公共领域在竞争力、可信度与透明化的信心。人联公共投诉局将尽力确保砂州公共服务将达致公共行政规格。 人联公共投诉局目标为提供一个可信与有效之投诉处理服务以克服公众因公共领域服务怠慢或行政上之偏差延误等。 人联公共投诉局主要功能是作为一个监督单位确保联邦与州政府机构包括警察及市议会有效地履行其职责。人联公共投诉局将处理有关联邦与州政府机构之服务投诉。 在成立初期，人联公共投诉局暂时只处理针对政府机构服务怠慢、不公平处理方式及服务上之延误等。 在近期一宗事件，一对情侣（一名男性大马公民与一名女性印尼公民）前来寻求人联公共投诉局协助。他们先前在印尼甘榜注册结婚惟在大马注册时面临了问题。在人联公共服务局主任叶耀星的陪同下见了国家登记局婚姻注册部门官员。经官员解释，该对情侣误解涉及外国人士之婚姻注册程序并获得该名官员之详细解释需在印尼完成之文件方可在大马注册。 人联公共服务局在此呼吁群众，欲了解婚姻注册程序，可浏览国家登记局网站www.jpn.gov.my/en/soalan_lazim/perkahwinan-penceraian以获取详情。
