陈超耀对提出司法检讨人士举动感痛心
砂人联党中央宣教秘书拿督陈超耀对于一些人士向法庭申请司法检讨，要求宣判砂人联党注册吊销的行为，深感痛心！ 他是在本地一家英文报章上，了解到社团注册局对砂人联党作出不会吊销的决定，被7名人士，分别是耶里苏休州议员、拉浓米纳州议员、佐尼科拉永州议员、西林阿纳邦吉、拿督张泰卿、李素霞及谢自民提出司法检讨。 他认为，上述人士的行为，是不友善的，因为其最终目的，是要砂人联党被吊销。 他相信，砂人联党中央领袖及爱党的党员，会采取必要的行动，维护党的生存。 也是卑尔骚支部主席的陈超耀表示，他此前与党主席丹斯里陈华贵、秘书张拿督沈桂贤上议员及其他领袖进行全砂访问，感受基层党员爱党的心。 他说，在交流会上，党员与领袖积极互动，让交流会取得丰富成果。 “我对于党员们的精神深深感动，即使在困难时刻，他们对党还是不离不弃。”

人联青：马来西亚绝对是世俗国
砂人联青极度关注近来针对马来西亚究竟是世俗国还是回教国的争议。此争议也是砂州民众非常关心的议题。 马来西亚从未被确定或证实为世俗国，而“世俗”这个字眼亦从未出现在联邦宪法内。在1988年仄奥玛仄索与检察官一案中，高庭认为马来西亚所采用的法律乃是世俗法，但在我国是否世俗国一事上却没有明确判决。 不管仄奥玛仄索与检察官一案的判决为何，砂人联青对此议题的看法是明确及不动摇的，那便是：马来西亚绝对是一个世俗国！在联邦宪法第三条文下，1957年的李德委员会（ReidCommission）报告清楚阐明，即使回教在第三条文下被列为联邦的官方宗教，但也不可对奉行各自宗教信仰的非穆斯林构成影响，同时也不能暗示或影射马来西亚不是一个世俗国。 无可厚非的，我们的国家如今出现宗教争议，严重破坏了各族人民的团结，若要追溯到底，罪魁祸首就是行动党的亲民战友伊斯兰党，罔顾国家和平，执意要推动该党的伊刑法政治议程，誓要把马来西亚变成一个神权回教国。 有鉴于此，砂人联青秘书长叶耀星劝请行动党领袖，特别是该党的砂州国州议员们，不要为了捞取政治资本和廉价宣传及掩饰党领袖的种种弊端，一再提起有关我国是世俗国或回教国的课题，引发更多争议。叶耀星认为，若行动党是发自内心关注国内非穆斯林群体的权益，就应该采取实际的行动去遏制该党的亲民战友–伊斯兰党继续推动其伊刑法议程。

SUPP Youth is very concerned with the current debate gripping Sarawakians on whether Malaysia is a secular or Islamic state.
