Dato’ Sebastian Ting: group out to destroy SUPP

SUPP Publicity Chief, Dato’ Sebastian Ting, said he was very sad of the present situation where there are people who want to make sure SUPP is de-registered and destroyed.

He said an English daily front page he saw reported that the ROS’ decision on SUPP is under judicial review – initiated by seven persons, namely YB Datuk Dr Jerip Anak Susil, YB Ranum Anak Mina, YB Johnichal Rayong Ngipa, Shiling Anak Banggit ( Political Secretary to CM) Datuk Tiong Thai King (Chairman Sibu Municipal Council ) Suzanne Lee Tze Ha (Political Secretary to CM) and Sia Jii Ming (Penghulu).

“The seven of them wanted the court to overturn the decision of the ROS on two SUPP branches, Bekenu and Piasau. In short, their intention and desire is to make sure that SUPP Party be deregistered and destroy SUPP Party. Their action cannot be described as “Friendly”, he added.

Ting believed that the SUPP Party Central Leaders and all the existing members shall take all necessary steps to defend and save the party.

Lately Ting had been busy joining Party President Tan Sri Peter Chin , Secretary General Senator Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian and other Party Central leaders to visit SUPP branches throughout Sarawak. The responses and receptions were warm and overwhelming. The dialogues were informative, fruitful and meaningful. The fellowship was fantastic.

“We saw greater unity, hope and indeed we were really touched – so I believed we will overcome all bad intentions”, he added.
