Pending constituency upgrading works.
A total sum of RM545,000 for the Rural Transformation Projects (RTP) was approved by the Sarawak Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Haji Adenan Satem, for N10 Pending constituency’s upgrading works.
The funding was earlier compiled and submitted to the Chief Minister through SUPP President, Senator Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian on August 2015.
Datuk Dr Sim revealed this in a meeting with CHMS No.1 Kuching Principal Mr Yam Chong Guan. The said approved fund cover 14 upgrading projects of Pending constituency’s schools and organizations. CHMS No.1 received funding of RM50,000 for the school security system upgrading and minor facilities repair.
Those upgrading projects were compiled by SUPP Pending Branch after several dialogues with the respective schools and organizations. The projects will be verified by the District Office and executed by Kuching South City Council (MBKS), and is expected to be completed by end of December 2015.
Also present in the meeting was the Deputy Chairman of SUPP Pending Branch Chan Chiaw Yam; Assistant Secretary Milton Foo; Kapitan Fang Jee Fah; representative of school’s board Mr Sim Kui Hock and officers from MBKS.
Milton Foo who is also a graduate of CHMS No.1 expressed his sincere gratitude toward the Chief Minister’s assistance.
