Dr. Sim who was officiating the new school block yesterday at SJKC Kim Choo Sheng said in Sarawak, a big number of the primary chinese schools are in tatters.

He said the Education department should look into the deteriorating conditions of such schools.

Dr. Sim said the Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem, had called for the education autonomy for Sarawak and he asked the Educationists to support the CM as it is important for Sarawak to move forward to achieve the autonomy.

He added that the CM emphasised greatly on the usage of English which is important in the move towards globalisation.
