YB Wilfred Yap Responds Swiftly to Assist Dental Unit at Klinik Kesihatan Kota Sentosa with Contribution of New Water Boiler

In response to a request for assistance from the Dental Unit at Klinik Kesihatan Kota Sentosa, Wilfred Yap, the State Assemblyman for N12 Kota Sentosa, has contributed a brand new unit of the Berjaya Wall-Mounted Water Boiler (21 litres, auto-refill and auto temperature control) to the facility.

The dental team at the clinic had earlier highlighted to Yap that their existing water boiler had malfunctioned, causing significant inconvenience and delays, particularly in the making of dentures for patients. The absence of a functioning boiler forced the staff to resort to boiling water using kettles as an inefficient and time-consuming workaround that affected the speed and hygiene of the denture fabrication process.

Recognising the pressing need and the impact on patient care, Yap acted without delay to procure and deliver the necessary equipment. The new water boiler ensures that the dental unit can now return to full functionality, with a reliable and continuous supply of hot water critical for cleaning, wax processing, and other denture-making procedures.

“I was informed that patients requiring dentures were being affected due to the faulty equipment. As their elected representative, it is my duty to assist where and when I can to ensure essential healthcare services continue smoothly, ” he said.

This contribution reflects Yap’s ongoing commitment to bein g a responsive and caring representative who remains attuned to the real needs of the community. His prompt action in addressing even small but critical issues demonstrates his hands-on approach to problem-solving and his deep concern for the welfare of his constituents.
