Plaza Merdeka lights up Kuching with Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 Celebrations

Plaza Merdeka is proud to announce its Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 celebrations, set to be one of the most vibrant and festive events in the heart of Kuching. Running from the 7th to the 17th of September 2024, the celebration will coincide with the Carpenter Street Mid-Autumn Festival, offering an unforgettable experience for locals and visitors alike.

This year’s festivities, in collaboration with the Kuching Suriamas Dance and Music Fans Association and the Kuching Association of Talent Development and Welfare of Special Needs (KATSN), promise an exciting lineup of events for all ages. The celebrations will feature nightly Art Exhibitions, a Children’s Colouring Contest, live performances, and a special Kids Coloring & Cheongsam Contest for mothers and daughters on 15th September. Adding to the excitement is the Lantern Competition from the 10th September, where participants stand a chance to win attractive prizes.

A highlight of the event is the Art Exhibition, which showcases the incredible talents of over 13 artists from KATSN. These unique and limited-edition artworks and crafts will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the artists. Your participation not only helps to promote their work but also contributes to boosting their self-esteem and encouraging self-reliance.
