A “Gotong-Royong” by JKKK Kota Sentosa Batu 7 with the assistance from Mile 7 Basketball Club
carried out the final inspection for the completed construction of new toilets, repainting works, general repairs and upgrading works including the purchase and installation of international standard basketball hoop stand system and electronic scoreboard.
State Assemblyman Sentosa, Wilfred Yap said the project sum of RM200,000 was for the general repairs and upgrading works of the mini stadium was under his RTP funding.
During the final inspection, Yap thanked MPP for closely supervising and monitoring the repair and upgrading works carried out.
The Mile 7 Basketball Club had earlier requested Yap through Penghulu Lai Boon Khee to request for his assistance for funding to carry out the repair and upgrading works at the mini stadium which was long overdue as no repair and upgrading works had been carried out for the last fifteen years.
“I receive numerous requests for assistance on unsatisfactory facilities and infrastructure in N12 Kota Sentosa that needs to be resolved and I applied for more government funding to address those complaints. I urged the public for their patience and understanding to resolve all the unsatisfactory facilities and infrastructure problems some of which have not been resolved for the last fifteen years, ” he said.
