Upgrading of drains and road resurfacing at Taman Sri Emas

Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian teams up with MPP representatives to check on upgrading of drains and road resurfacing at Taman Sri Emas to Taman Sri Emas 8 & Lrg SPS 3.
Taman Sri Emas 8 and Lorong SPS 3 will have the earth drain Earth upgraded to concrete ones and resurfacing the road in the area under the Rural Transformation projects.
Deputy Premier, Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian who checked out the area said the open tender costing is more than RM1 million and he hoped to see the projects materialised in the next few years.
He said the Padawan Municipal council (MPP) assessment collection for the individual house will never be enough for all the drainage infrastructure for the 40 years old resettlement scheme.
Hence, he said under Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Jo, all new resettlement schemes will be implemented as affordable housing such as Spektra Permata with concrete drains, tar seal roads, street lighting and all the necessary amenities as it is cheaper in the long run.
