SUPP Batu Kitang Secretary, Tnay Li Ping asks DAP to be humble
SUPP Batu Kitang branch Secretary, Tnay Li Ping applauded DAP Central Committee member, Ronnie Liu Tian Khiew for publicly admitting that Pakatan Harapan had made many mistakes during its administration in their two years of government.
Tnay said the statements made by DAP leader alleging that Sarawak would go bankrupt and also not fulfilling Sarawak oil and gas tax issues and not recognizing the Unified Examination certificate (UEC) is a failure on their part.
She said there was no Sarawak DAP leaders coming out to admit thier mistakes.
“We will not forget how Lim claimed that Sarawak will go bankrupt during his campaign in Kuching and instead of correcting his statement, Sarawak DAP came out to endorse and defend him.
She pointed out that under the “suppression and restraint” of their Malayan leaders, the Sarawak DAP leaders dare not speak openly or safeguard the rights and interests of Sarawakians even though these leaders were all Sarawakians.
It was disheartening, she said, that many Sarawak development plans were cancelled by Federal Pakatan Harapan and the Ministry of Finance rejected the 5% sales tax on petroleum products. “This is some of the `punishment’ Sarawak got and to make matter worst, schools in dilapidated conditions were not repaired. Only when the Premier stepped in to do the repair first by paying the contractors, they can then get the reimbursement from Finance department at a later stage.
Tnay then urged voters to be know and keep in mind how Sarawak has suffered during PH two – year tenure as Federal government.
