Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting and Pujut State Assemblyman, Adam Yii paid a visit to the Miri Home for the Aged during the weekend to bring some cheers to the folks at Jalan Krokop.

Ting who is also the Assistant Minister for Tourism said with Chinese New Year around the corner, they got together with the Woman SUPP Krokop sub branch to cook a meal for the 30 senior citizens while he and Yii gave away angpows.

During the visit, the inmates were given some light entertainment.

Ting said according to the woman Krokop sub branch, it was an annual event for them to cook for the senior citizens as part of celebrating the Chinese New Year with them.
