Dr Sim signing chinese new year cards
With Chinese New year approaching, Deputy Chief Minister, Dato’ Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian went on his normal task of writing out Chinese new year cards to wish the sender a happy new year.
Dr. Sim said while welcoming in the new year of the Tiger, he said he signed 5,000 Chinese new year greeting cards this year, a family tradition which was started by his late father, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Sim Kheng Hong.
He added that with virant Omicron in our midst, he urged everyone to celebrate the new year with family members and to follow the SOP which will be released to the public soon.
Dr.Sim said it pays to be caution and as this is the third year into the pandemic, he believed that many have found it a norm to follow the SOP required.
