Roofs at Sg. Moyan flew off in stormy weather
Batu Kawah State Assemblyman, Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian assured that he will facilitate fundings from the government to help those families who were affected by the stormy weather on Sunday.
A number of families in Moyan, Batu Kawah had their roofs and houses destroyed in the thunderstorm yesterday afternoon.
Dr Sim said the weather has lately become more unpredictable globally and created havoc not only in Sarawak but West Malaysia and all over the world.
He cautioned those who were out during such thunderstorms to be careful.
Dr Sim said after the incident, he sent his team there to help the victims and during the evening, he also paid a visit to the victims.
