SUPP Party President, Dato’ Sri Dr.Sim Kui Hian shows his report cards
Candidate for Batu Kawa, Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian showed his report cards, work done for the past five years this morning at his Batu Kawa SUPP Centre.
In a press conference, Dr Sim said a total of RM 330,484,651 was spent on various projects.
On economy, livelihood and Tourism, he has boosted tourism with RM 21.6 million Batu Kawa Riverbank Park, RM 15 million revival of the Ang Cheng Ho abandoned quarry, food festival, assistance for local farmers and modernisation of local farmers.
For infrastructure betterment, millions were spent on Desa Wira flood mitigation, upgrading and resurfacing of gravel roads, drainage, clean water pipes, roads and river clearing works and road widening.
Dr Sim said he has also started a government community clinic, funding for religious organisations, sports courts, new street lights, installation of CCTV, repair of dilapidated houses.
On Education Assistant and Funding, a total of RM 10 million was spent.
This included securing funding of RM 15 million for SK Rantau Panjang, rebuilding, expanding few chinese schools and mission schools.
Under Law and Process reforms, he said he had established a local council, facilitated the visit of China Covid 19 medical expert team and launched an anti corruption plan in all departments and agencies under MLGH.
Dr Sim added that he has gone to his walkabout every week listening to the people and opening a weekday service centre with his dedicated team.
